Are you looking for one-on-one care to help you move better, feel stronger, and stay active? active acadia Physical therapy clinic offers electronic payment-based, fee-for-service care that puts you first.

active acadia Physical Therapy led Fitness exercise program for Medicare clients

What Does “Electronic Payment-based, Fee-for-Service ” Mean?

Electronic payment-based, fee-for-service means you pay us directly for your Physical Therapy or Fitness exercise program sessions. We don’t bill your insurance, so there’s no middleman. This lets us spend more time with you—focusing on your goals without the limits that insurance companies sometimes place on care.

You get high-quality treatment, and personalized plans—whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a condition, or just want to stay strong and mobile.

Not in Medicare? No Problem!

Our clinic does not participate in Medicare. This means we don’t bill Medicare for Physical Therapy services. But don’t worry—we have other options for clients who have Medicare and still want to work with us.

If you want to stay active, we offer fitness exercise programs designed for health maintenance and prevention. These sessions are not considered “medical treatment,” so they are allowed but not covered under Medicare rules. You can enjoy Physical Therapist guided exercises, strength and balance training, and support to stay healthy and independent.

What If You Have Medicare Supplement Insurance?

If you have a Medicare Supplement plan or secondary insurance, we’ll give you a detailed invoice after your visit. This invoice includes everything your insurance needs to consider your claim. You can then submit it to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

Just keep in mind that each plan is different, so coverage can vary.

Payment Options

We accept credit, and debit electronic payment at the time you book your appointment. We will provide an invoice for your records and for insurance submission if needed.
